MODEL RBM 2-30 UNIVERSAL ROLL BENDER
The RBM 2-30 is suitable for rolling a large variety of materials, including mild, structural and stainless steels, as well as
copper aluminum and brass.
The machine if furnished with a standard (or "universal") roll set, consisting of eighteen pieces. Each of the machine’s three
shafts are equipped with two large roll discs and four smaller spacer discs. The spacers are of differing thickness and the
large discs have shoulders of varying depths machined in to their surfaces. By installing the discs on the shafts in different
sequences, many variable sizes and shapes may be rolled without the need for special tooling. For example, materials which can
be rolled with the standard roll set include flat bar (hard way or easy way) square bar, channels and tees, as well as some
angles, square tubes and rectangular tubes, depending on sizes. Round mechanical tubing and pipes may also be rolled, however,
such applications require optional roll sets which conform to the O.D. of the material to be rolled. Custom roll sets, for
extruded shapes, are also available upon request.
